What was u.comms tasked with?
To conduct a training for the TAS Agro communications team, share expertise in building systematic communications, and identify how to adapt communication tools to the agricultural market.
Key objectives:
- Conduct a practical training for the TAS Agro communications team.
- Share expertise in building systematic communications.
- Adapt communication tools to the specifics of the agricultural market.
- Ensure media and social media coverage of the “Will to Move Forward” social initiative.
- Show sport as a tool for helping defenders return to active life.
- Engage the audience in supporting the initiative through donations and product purchases.
How did the training for the TAS Agro team work?
For TAS Agro’s small communications team, this was their first training of this kind. The team wanted to explore communications, effective copywriting, and media relations more deeply, specifically from the perspective of the agricultural sector. The training program was therefore tailored to the team’s needs and designed to be as practical as possible.
What did the training cover?
During the training, the team worked across three areas: media relations, copywriting, and social media.
Media relations
How newsrooms work, where to find journalists’ contact details, how to communicate with them, and how to create newsworthy stories.
Copywriting
How to create content that captures the audience’s attention and is tailored to the specifics of different communication channels.
Social Media
How to manage content and communication across social media.

Practice as Part of the Training
The training combined theory with practical exercises, humor, and memes to make the knowledge easier to absorb and remember. Practical work was an important part of the learning process: participants highlighted its value and said they would feel more confident when facing similar challenges in their work.
One-day intensive
Theory, practical exercises, humor, and memes — a format that helped reinforce the knowledge gained.
What results did the training achieve?
Participants gained practical skills and knowledge in working with media and journalists, engaging audiences on social media, and creating different types of content for different purposes. They also shared their positive feedback on the training experience.
The u.comms team thanks the TAS Agro team for their openness and trust. For us, every such collaboration is an opportunity to gain new experience and make communications more effective.
