What was u.comms tasked with for the “Study in Korea!” project?
To build awareness of the first-ever educational fair focused on study opportunities at universities in South Korea and drive registrations from prospective students.
The campaign focused on reaching future applicants, identifying relevant media outlets and youth-focused Telegram channels, and creating and placing promotional content about the event and the GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) program.
How did we build the communications campaign?
The Korean Education Center in Ukraine approached u.comms to promote the event. Our communications team developed several partnership options, allowing the client to choose the media mix that best matched their goals: coverage in targeted online media combined with placements in youth-oriented Telegram channels.
Communication focus
We put the spotlight on the fair’s key opportunities for prospective students: online presentations from South Korean universities, experience-sharing sessions, and one-on-one guidance on how to apply for a fully funded scholarship for international students.
What did the campaign achieve?
478 prospective students
Registered for the educational fair – significantly exceeding the client’s initial expectations.
Sold-out venues
The two-day event reached the venue’s full physical capacity, bringing together as many attendees as the space could accommodate.
Targeted media coverage
The fair was featured across relevant media outlets and youth-focused Telegram channels, helping the event reach its core audience of prospective students.
