What was u.comms tasked with?

To provide comprehensive PR and communications support for “From a Clean Slate,” a charity photo exhibition initiated by the I Am the Future of Ukraine Foundation and photographer Dasha Tenditna. The project aimed to raise public awareness of social orphanhood, promote the importance of family-based care, and raise funds to continue the construction of City of Goodness, a crisis center for women with children in Chernivtsi.

Key objectives
  • Secure event announcements across leading national and Kyiv-based media outlets.
  • Attract high-profile guests, opinion leaders, politicians, and show-business personalities to the exhibition opening.
  • Prepare and distribute a post-event release highlighting the initiative’s results and securing media coverage.
  • Support the fundraising goal of raising funds for the development of the “City of Goodness” shelter.

How did we deliver the PR campaign and engage guests?

The u.comms team joined the project during the preparation and opening of the exhibition at the Taras Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv. We developed the communications campaign and prepared event announcements that were published by more than 20 leading media outlets and platforms, including Interfax-Ukraine and Kyiv Digital, while also bringing on board media partners.

Our VIP guest outreach brought a number of prominent public figures to the opening, including Oksana Bilozir, Olena Borysova, Liubov Yunak (Lavika), Santa Dimopulos, Inna Myroshnychenko, Oleh Skrypka, Olena Filonova and Anna Kudriashova.

The exhibition featured portraits of children from orphanages, as well as women and children supported by “City of Goodness” – mothers and their young children who received timely assistance and were spared from entering institutional care.
