What was u.comms tasked with?
To create an unconventional brand video for ZAMMLER, a group of logistics companies, that would challenge the conventional perception of logistics as a dry, highly regulated industry. The goal was to showcase the company’s range of services through a creative concept that combined the precision and structure of logistics with artistic aesthetics.
Key objectives
- Move beyond the traditional B2B video formats used in the logistics industry.
- Develop an original script that traces the evolution of logistics from antiquity to the present day while showcasing the company’s modern capabilities.
- Assemble and coordinate a production team capable of bringing complex artistic concepts to life.
- Create a versatile brand video for ZAMMLER GROUP to use in communications with both international and national partners.
How did we bring the creative video for ZAMMLER GROUP to life?
The project was developed in partnership between branding agency iden.team and communications agency UK communications. Our team developed the concept and a detailed first-person narrative delivered by ZAMMLER’s CEO. In the video, he makes notes in a notebook, gradually introducing viewers to the company’s key services before concluding with a call to action: “Let’s create the history of logistics together.”
The company’s key services were brought to life through unique ink illustrations. To create nine distinctive visual concepts, the team spent dozens of hours experimenting with different combinations of liquid and ink, using several kilograms of paper and dedicating more than 12 hours to capturing a single successful shot. The result was the first advertising video of its kind in Ukraine’s B2B logistics market.
The bold combination of live-action footage, original ink illustrations, and storytelling transformed a structured business process into an aesthetic visual story, helping ZAMMLER stand out from its competitors.
